Please rescue me! I'm a 1960 Chevy Corvair 700 Coupe that is a major non running project car. I have a 6 cylinder engine with a manual transmission. My 6 cylinder engine doesn't run but it's complete down to the air cleaner and double carbs. My body is pretty solid and looks great if I may say so myself. I've got a little rust hole starting in front of my right rear tire, and at the rear lower area of my drivers door. My rocker panels are solid. My floors, on the other hand, are a bit of a problem. They are pretty weak and Fred Flintstone would be at home with the left rear floorboard (gone). My seat covers are toast. My chrome is pretty good. Believe it or not, I have brand new tail light lenses. Did I mention that I'm a "never Nader"? My family would still be coming down the assembly line if it weren't for that Ralph Nader guy. We made him famous! Sorry for getting off track. My headliner is gone, too. Under my hood (up front) you'll find that its pretty solid (surface rust at the bottom, but not rust through). My odometer shows 35k miles, but I'm pretty sure I remember driving about a 100k more than that. It was a fun ride and I hope its not over. As i have gotten older, I have been getting better looking and have become more popular. Why, there are even clubs dedicated to repairing and driving all of my kin. I'll tell you one thing....this teal/blue paint they used looks really good on me. My top, if I remember, was white and it really finished me off nicely. This Governor dealership place I'm at now has me priced at just $2,150. I think it's a little low (and insulting), but I guess they don't want me sitting around here forever. So, in conclusion, I'm good looking, I have major potential, I'm complete down to my hubcaps, and I'm dying to hit the road again! Please rescue me!!
