2001 GMC C6500

If you're looking for a rough riding, hard shifting, super awesome attention getter, you may have just found it. This is a 2001 GMC C-6500 that used to be a 24 foot box truck. If you look online you'll find that It's a "thing" to turn these into monster pickup trucks. Remove box, shorten the frame, and add a one ton dually pickup bed. After a few years of ownership I've decided to let someone else have fun with it. it has a gas 8.1 liter V8, an Allison automatic transmission, 2wd, and air conditioning. I had it painted a couple of years ago. The cab and bed were never rusty. The old girl has is not without a flaw or two. The speedometer and odometer work but maybe not totally accurate. The gas gauge works (when it says 1/2 full, you need gas). It comes with a 2 foot long copper rod to actually stick into the tank for real accuracy. The driveline makes some noise when you hit about 50 mph. It may be a u-joint or something. I mostly drove it around town so it was never an issue. With 114ki miles, this awesome funmobile is priced at $12,450.
